Good buds but loudness sucks

These are nice little buds. They do a great job muffling the background noise but I don't know how good that would be if something is really loud. Getting them out of my ear is difficult bc they do not stick out at all. Thankfully I have long nails. The lid on the case has got to be as tight as an unopened pickle jar bc I have to use both hands to get it to open. Again, if I didn't have nails I'd have had to resort to a butter knife. At least they're secure. The bass is fantastic. My only complaint so far is the loudness. It just about maxes my iPhone's volume and my phone is barely a year old.
