I have had it for a few weeks and they have performed better than I could have ever hoped. Crisp clear sound and so comfortable to wear I forget they are even in my ears . I can not recommend enough!

I absolutely love these! I often have difficulty finding ear buds that will stay in my ears and not fall out at inconvenient time but these are perfect! They stay in, have the incredible Bose sound I have come to expect and the best part….I barely even notice that I have them in!

Overall a good product. But not a good design if you are one to enjoy your music while actively working such as landscaping. I use my earbuds the most while out in the lawns for one to drown out the machines also listening to music keeps me going. With this design you hear more of everything around you than what you actually listening to. If I had to pick I would definitely go with the quiet comfort series to work with.

Bose Open Earbuds review

Upon the release of the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, my excitement as a devoted Bose product fan was palpable. I was a tad skeptical about these lacking noise-canceling. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised! The immersive audio from the open buds surpassed my expectations, effectively blocking out external noise.
One of the standout features was the remarkable security and stability of the earbuds, even during vigorous movements. This instilled confidence in their suitability for activities like workouts or running. Additionally, the sleek and lightweight design of the charging case enhanced overall convenience and portability. Though I encountered a minor hiccup with Bluetooth connectivity upon unboxing, a simple update to the Bose app and a quick phone restart resolved the issue seamlessly.
Now, turning to the most crucial aspects of the product, the exceptional sound quality and unparalleled comfort during extended wear stand out. Despite the absence of noise-canceling technology, the open buds delivered immersive audio that effectively drowned out external disturbances. Furthermore, the secure fit of the earbuds ensures comfort and stability even during vigorous activities.
However, the lack of multi-device pairing and wireless charging are notable drawbacks. As someone who frequently switches between devices and values convenience, the inability to pair with multiple devices simultaneously is a significant inconvenience. Similarly, while the sleek design of the charging case is commendable, the absence of wireless charging adds an unnecessary layer of complexity, detracting from the overall user experience.
In conclusion, despite these shortcomings, my overall satisfaction with the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds remains unwavering. The exceptional sound quality, coupled with unmatched comfort and stability, makes them a compelling choice for daily use. With minor improvements in functionality, such as multi-device pairing and wireless charging, these earbuds could truly stand as the epitome of excellence in the audio industry.

After reading countless reviews that all pretty much said the same thing, I picked up a pair of these for myself. I knew the pros and cons based off of what other reviewers said, but I did not see many actual in depth usage reviews. After using these for the past few weeks, I can definitely lay out the pros and cons to hopefully help others.
Pros: 1. Comfort - Every review I read comments on how comfortable they are, which could not be more accurate. However, I have a lot of trouble finding any earphones or headphones that sit comfortably for me. My earlobes are stretched which makes any AirPod like earbuds fall out if lean forward from my plugs. These don't move an inch unless I want them to. It is phenomenal.
2. Sound - The sound is great. I am not going to compare them to the sound on the ProMax or Sony XM series, but for what they are the sound is solid.
3. Awareness - I have been using these the better part of a week in an office setting. Being able to leave them in my ear all day long and not have to pause or remove them to hear is a nice touch. Talking feels much more natural compared to using the transparency mode on other headsets.
4. Battery - The battery life isn't bad. I typically do not use the spatial audio settings so I know that is a big part of it, but listening to them from 10 - 5 while taking calls and listening to music is more than enough for me.
Cons: 1. Connection - This is easily the biggest con. The first day I used them, there was a period where the right bud would cut out. I had to put them back in the case, close the case, and manually reconnect to get them to work again. It has not happened again, but will periodically crackle, which might be a sign of another issue.
2. The case - The charging case feels very flimsy. The top moves around much more than I am comfortable with when comparing them to any AirPods case. Costing more than a pair of AirPods Pro while still not having wireless charging, I would like to see something that feels a little more durable.
I will not put any features as a con, because I feel like these will get many updates down the line to address any missing features.
TL;DR Despite the $300 price tag, these are well worth the money if you like to hear your surroundings, or are looking for all day comfort for even stretched ears
