Amazingly comfortable

These headphones really do provide a unique and new listening experience. I was a little unsure about the fit at first, but after wearing them around the house, on the train and while working out, I am loving the Open Earbuds much more than even my AirPods. The lack of pressure and strain on your ears is incredible. The battery life exceeded my expectations and the case/packaging was very premium. Overall, I am very happy with these open ear buds and will continue to reach for them throughout my day!

My new favorite earbuds!

My first impression of these Ultra open earbuds was that their design is different from any other earbuds I've ever used. There is a bit of a learning curve if you are used to plugging up your ear canal with more traditional noise cancelling earbuds as well as the unique cuff design, but once you get used to the feel and fit of how these should be worn, it's a game changer. Even with hours of use, they are so lightweight and comfortable, you'll forget you are wearing them. Battery life seems to be good, and you get a couple/few charges from the case as well. I use headphones or earbuds primarily for listening to music. I don't usually use them for calls, nor do I exercise with them on, although these feel stable enough on your ear that I think they would handle activity well without falling off. As with my Bose QC 35 II over-ear headphones, I would have liked a bit more volume, but the richness and clarity of the sound more than makes up for this. I will opt for sound quality over volume, and I find that I tend not to max out the volume on these anyway to have the best and most enjoyable listening experience. The open ear design and immersive sound makes you feel like the music surrounds you, which you will never have experienced in any other earbuds you have ever used.
While absence of these features is not a deal breaker for me personally, it is worth mentioning that these are not noise cancelling, nor is there a rubber ear piece adapter option to make them fit into your ear canal to make them noise cancelling (which would be contradictory to their open ear design), the case does not have wireless/Qi charging, and the call quality according to the party on the other end was not clear/loud enough. (On my end the call sounded fine). I actually prefer being able to hear what's going on around me and to engage in a conversation if I need to while wearing these earbuds. The only other thing I would like to see improved might be the modes in the Bose Music App settings. I have not really been able to notice any discernible difference between most of the modes offered, but again this is hardly a deal breaker as there is an equalizer and some other settings you can adjust and most music apps also have their own equalizers for additional fine tuning to your listening preferences. I will be interested to see what additional features and/or improvements future updates may bring to these earbuds.
These Ultra Open earbuds have quickly become my favorites in the short time I have been using them, and I know they will be my go-to because nothing compares to the quality you expect from a Bose product, the immersive sound these offer, and the ability to wear them for long periods of time without any discomfort or having to recharge them often. I'd have given these a solid 4.5, but 1/2 stars weren't an option, nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement. I definitely would recommend to go buy yourself a pair – you won't be disappointed!

Great sound, comfortable fit

I love the Earbuds and the comfort of the fit!! My biggest concern was them falling out and losing one while I was moving around. This was not the case with my bose earbuds so I am a very happy camper! I love the big sound that you get with them but still being able to hear your surroundings. The battery life is pretty amazing! The biggest con for me would be the sound when you are in a call. The call volume seem rather low and I wish it would be a bit higher. But over all I love these earbuds and cannot wait for all the adventures we will have!

Comfortable, breathable, stylish

These are different in that you wear them similar to a clip on earing. They don't get "stuffed" in the ear so you don't get that pressure sensation there. As such, they don't block out sound, so plan on wearing them in a noisy setting such as a plane, car or where there are lots of people. They also won't block out the sounds of a treadmill even while in a private setting. But they may work on a trail or outdoors where you are on your own and need to hear traffic (other have said it works well here, but didn't get to test this out). Thats it on the bad. Sounds like a lot but thats not how they were intended,
Now for that good.. As mentioned. They wear on the outside of ear and leave space between the canal / bud. These I can wear for far longer than ones that fit in the ear. Feel so much more relaxed. Conversations are easier to have. Other styles I would need to remove to clearly hear a person, these I can leave as is.
Controlling your audio is more definitive. Others may have a sensor that if touched, removed, music may change or stop. I can unclip one and still hear playing in the other ear. The control is also more of a push button found on the barrel. use these for your standard controls, + swtich between audio sources,
Music sounds crisp , clean and has setting for staying still, active, and a basic output.
WIth the app. you can also modify the equilizers slightly. Speaking of. The app is different that the the previous one. I wasn't able to connect my other devices (as of yet). So wishing they would have just upgraded that app vs creating a new one.
I would really give this a 4.5* for the issues I noted at beginning and with the app. Overall, its a solid product and would continue to reach for this primarily at my office desk setting

Perfect for Skating and My Boss Let's Me Wear Them

By far this is my favorite device to use when listening to music, especially when I am riding around town on my electric scooter or skateboard. They are perfect when riding because they do not move, like AT ALL! No matter how much I skate or push they stay in place and most of the time I forget they are there. Best of all, you can hear the traffic or people so I can stay alert at all times because if you ride a scooter or skateboard you know how dangerous the roads can be. There was a few times during my use where I literally stopped to look around, trying to figure out where the music I was hearing was coming from. I felt so dumb and amazed at the same time.
I also love them more because I can use them at work with permission from management. This is a HUGE deal because earbuds are not allowed at all at our manufacturing plant for obvious safety reasons. Once I proved how clear I can hear my surrounding I was given the OK to keep using them at work. The only thing I wish I was able to do is turn the volume up or down with the earpiece. If it's an option I am unaware of it but that would make these the perfect earbuds for myself and so many others I know.

You can increase the volume by pressing the button on the right earbud twice and continue to hold the second press. The volume increases as you hold the button. Release the button when you reach the desired volume level.
And you can decrease the volume by pressing the button on the left earbud twice and continue to hold the second press. The volume decreases as you hold the button. Release the button when you reach the desired volume level.

Best Ear Hugs!

First off, earbuds are a must have for me. I use them daily to take calls, listen to music and watch videos. I don’t like to have a phone held to my head or to be attached by a headphone wire. With that being said they have to sound good, have reliable connectivity, and be comfortable. The design of the Bose earbuds is incredible. They are the most comfortable headsets I have ever worn. They lay gently on your ear and are secured to your ear by wrapping around the edge of your ear. In the past, I have always been afraid to wear my expensive headphones in certain places for fear that one would fall and I would not be able to get it back. With the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, I can jump, run, and move my head all around without them budging. The carry case is also very nice. It has a magnetic connection to the earbuds so you know they are attached and charging properly. Also, just like you would expect from any Bose product, the sound is clear, crisp, and customizable. The mobile application allows you to customize the sound settings using an equalizer. There you can intensify or reduce the Bass and Treble. Calls are sharp as well. I can hear the caller clearly and the caller has no issues hearing me. The only thing I think would improve the product is the pass-off between device to device. To move from device to device, I have to disconnect the earbuds under the settings on one device to connect them to the other. It seems to recognize it is connected to another device and won’t connect to a new one until it is released from the other. Other devices I’ve used automatically connect once the Bluetooth connection has been activated. Other than that, these earbuds have stayed true to the Bose brand of excellent quality and I love having them.

I received my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds a few weeks back and let me tell you once, I picked them up, I have not put them down. I am a owner of several Bose earbuds and by far these are number 1 in rotation. I am a homemaker, so for me the were a absolute hit! They are very secure, not one has fallen out during use. I do alot of bend and squatting in my day to day activities. I appreciate the fact that when I walk my dog I can wear left or right earbud without having them both in use, I am able to hear my surroundings very well. I mostly use the buds for my music, videos and podcast needs. I will have to say I don't feel like they are the best for phone calls, and I still would give these earbuds a five star. I also think these would be perfect for anyone that has tinnitus. Don't let the design scare you, they were easy to use. I wore all different size earrings and my listening experience was not affected. Overall I am excited about my experience with the Bose earbuds.
