[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are actually the third set of earbuds I've owned. I am so happy with them. The sound is amazing and I'm aware of what's going on around me while listening with them. When I'm doing things, like mowing the lawn, I don't have to worry about them falling out, which was the biggest issue I had with others. I couldn't be happier. I absolutely love these things!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve just received my the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds since I using it while working, walking, and casual listening. I was curious about the open-ear design and how it would compare to traditional in-ear or over-ear headphones. These earbuds are so comfortable and lightweight plus surprisingly secure. I haven't felt any discomfort. I also found the sound quality to be impressive. The audio is clear especially the bass but also allows me to hear my surroundings.
The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are a fantastic choice for people who want high-quality sound without blocking out the world. They’re perfect for walking, working, or commuting in environments where awareness is key. If you’re looking for a premium, open-ear experience, these are hard to beat.

I love how these fit and feel, and the sound quality for music and podcasts is exceptional. But one of the principle uses of earbuds is to talk on the phone, and everyone I talk to tells me they can't hear me and then I have to switch to holding my phone so I can talk without using the earbuds. I checked reviews to find out if is just me, but apparently this is a real problem. I'm flummoxed that Bose would put its name on something with such a serious functional shortcoming. I'm afraid i am going to have to return these as I can't justify this expense for something that fails to meet one of the most critical functions of earbuds.

Best New invention: Bose Open Earbuds!!!

They stay on my ears all day when I want them turned off, No more pulling out of my ears to hear people. Totally lets me listen to my music and podcasts at work or walking my dog. I’ll tell you, I feel more aware of what’s going on. I think my blue color look cute too!

Not what I expected

I was really hoping these would be amazing, but I was quickly disappointed. To start out, the fit is great. The case, the design of the ear buds, the concept is spectacular. As for everyday use, I would not recommend. I work in a warehouse and thought these would be perfect so I could hear people, hear horns of forklifts, etc. it worked, but I couldn’t hear the music either through the buds. I wanted more volume, but it was maxed out. Same thing happened on an airplane. I had to press the buds into my ears to hear the dialogue of the show I was watching.
In conclusion, it is a great concept, bud needs a lot of work.

For situation where you are in busy and loud environment where you would prefer a bit of isolation, we would suggest noise cancelling earbuds. They have different modes that allow you to still hear your surround with light noise cancellation.
