Love these earbuds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi! I'm a senior citizen and proud to say I'm still exploring new technology. After reading all the reviews, good and bad, I felt that the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds were the best for me.
I cannot wear the earbuds that insert into my ear canals. The synthetic material causes my canals to swell and itch, which is very painful, and does take time to return to normal. I also suffering from vertigo. Which means I cannot wear anything too snug around my head or in my ears.
So when the open earbuds were being introduced, I started doing my research and also reading reviews and asking questions. I'm glad I did. The fact that they clamp onto your ears instead of inserting or plugging into the ear canal helped me tremendously. They don't feel like the would fall off or slip off. The sound is wonderful. I adjusted the volume to a low level and I heard my jazz beautifully. I received calls from my son and I heard him with no problems. I have to get use to the voice that interrupted my joy of hearing my music to inform of an incoming call. When the call ended, the music returned at the same volume and exactly where the music left off. I can have a conversation with others around me and still enjoy my music.
All in all, the only thing that I have to complain about is the Ultra Open Earbuds are on the expensive side. I'm still discovering new features.

Needs more work to perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got it 30 days ago. Having a problem with the hearing of the sound due to alignment to the ear. Tried to move it up and down my ear but unless i put it into full volume i cannot enjoy the voice quality unlike the in ear bose headset i already iwn. I believe it needs to be a little longer to reach and align with the ear hole. By the way i tried it with my wife and my secretary the outcome was the sane for all if us therefore i cannot assume has to do with my ear shape which is quite normal and average. I like the idea but needs more work to improve i

More practical than gimmicky!

Compared to most earbuds I've used it's nice to actually be able to be attentive to the environment around me even when I have both earbuds in. My only complaint really would be the fact I prefer if this had a touch sensor like the quietcomfort buds, but given how intricate these are, I can see why they utilize a button.
