Overall great sound but case is cheap feeling

I have had these for about a month. I love the design and the sound. Much more comfortable than in ear headphones. Got the new blue color and they look cool. The big negative is the case. It’s pretty standard in terms of design but it feels really cheap for something that costs $300. The lid actually moves back and forth and does not feel sturdy.

Audio is weak. Not as good as other Bose products.

I really wanted to love these as I do all of my other Bose products, but unfortunately the audio is just too weak. When I turn them up, I get the warning on my phone and the audio becomes distorted (and still somewhat weak). Bummer 😞. No where near worth the price sadly.

I am sorry to hear that you are not fully happy with your Bose Ultra Open Earbuds.
By design, the Open Earbuds don’t block out the world or have noise cancelling, so if you are using them in a busy environment, the volume might seem low as you will still hear your surroundings. However, they do have an automatic volume control feature, accessible in the Bose app, that helps you hear your music evenly as your environment changes from quiet to loud and back. But in very noisy environments where noise cancelling is helpful, traditional earbuds such as the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds could be a better choice.

Can't recommend for more than music

Great sound for music. However, I got these to use for work meetings on my laptop and I've been told it's hard to hear me and I sound echo-y. Ditto for using with my iPhone for Facetime; my family actually gets frustrated. Can't recommend if you want to use them for more than music!

I purchased them to compare to the open fit shokz. In my opinion the shokz have better call quality especially the volume level. Although the music quality and overall fit the Bose has a slight edge. I expected more at this price point. Innovation hands done Bose wins.

Great for people with ear eczema

Worth every penny

They have excellent sound, are easily controllable from the earbuds themselves and I can leave them in when talking to people as they allow me to hear outside noise when I want to. I also will never have to worry about cleaning off earwax.
