Not as hot as they look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I love all Bose products, the Ultra OPEN earbuds didn’t fit my taste. They’re cool looking, creating great A profile appeal, but the sound is just absent. I understand it’s the open ear concept, but u still want the rich detailed musical arrangements in your ear, especially when playing your favs! You expect the chimes and the subtle violins, the saxophone hidden in the background to be there, and when they are not, you miss that and crave it even more.
Secondly the clip could be less aggressive. It folds like a spring loaded accordion and gets tighter the longer you wear them. I assume over time they will fit more comfortable, but who’s got time to train their ear buds? I want mine right, right outta the box. These are a struggle to find the sweet spot on your ear lobes. I returned them!
But no matter what, I’m a Bose man and I was very happy to go with what I know, so I bought the Ultra Ear Buds. The regular ear buds. They’re a “proven, can’t miss, what’re doing buying something else” ear bud. Save urself some time if you’re in the market for ear buds and just get the Ultra’s. You’ll love love love them!

I use them during my workout as well as during work hours. The ability to have music and still hear everything around me is what I have been looking for! Highly recommend.
