Is it worth the cost?

I wish it could go on the same band as a Fitbit or Apple Watch. It if frustrating to reset the intensity after each charge. It does decrease the severity of my hot flashes but does not make them go away. I am on hormone blockers due to cancer, so the hot flashes are intense. If this was less expensive I would highly recommend it, but for the current cost it is unaffordable for most. Hopefully in a couple years it will be less expensive, more user friendly and be compatible to wear with other watch bands.

Kimberly, thanks for your feedback! Quick tip for saving your session intensity: We recommend giving customized sessions a special name using the Rename function so that you can easily locate them again. Just find the one you want to save under Last Used and tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner. Tap Rename, type in your new name, and then you’ll see in there in your Last Used section. To make it even easier to access again, you can also select Preset from that same menu to assign it to one of the buttons on your Wave. The next time you want to start that session, just press the button you assigned—no need to open up the app or use your phone!

Good but didn't expect a used unit

I bought this for my wife to try because she suffers from night sweats and hot flashes. I tried the 7 day free trial to make sure it actually worked prior to purchasing. My wife says she is now sleeping thru the night and not having to kick the sheets off due to being hot. She uses the night time cool for 9 hours and enjoys the effects. As noted by another reviewer the top of it does get a little warm but not to the point of unbearable and it is only noticed if you touch it, the wife doesn't notice it. My only issue is that when I went to the website to complete the purchase I discovered that I had received a used/refurbished unit which I was unaware of. Even though the price for the used unit was discounted I didn't appreciate being sent a used one when I didn't order or request one.

I have been using my Embr Wave for about 2 weeks now. It gets better with each use. I mainly got it for night time hot flashes. I am definitely waking up less frequently than I was two weeks ago- and not as hot. I believe it is getting much better! I’m excited that I found a solution without hormones! Thank you!!
