Very effective

I find the Embr Wave 2 quite effective, especially for staving off the hot flashes. If I activate the device as soon as I feel one coming on, it stops. Even if I don’t catch it in time, the Embr Wave does seem to lessen the severity and duration. I also like the warming function. The only complaint I have is that it is bulky under my wrist and I bang it on counters and desktops. I wish it had a slimmer design. Overall, I am quite happy with it.

Disappointing.

I used hot flash mode and 8 hour sleep mode for 2 weeks. Neither did anything to make me feel "cooler". During the night mode, the device got very warm.

Not what I expected. Really doesn't cool overall. Doesn't wave and becomes warm to the touch after each wave which to me defeats the purpose.

Impossible to reach support

I got mine for Christmas but by February, it wouldn’t work anymore- it wouldn’t connect. Took forever to try to reach support, and had to make an appointment to get help. They did replace it in March, finally- but it didn’t work by June again- said it was too hot. It worked well- when it worked, but just super disappointed that it doesn’t work- again.

Embr Wave 2 does a good job of cooling you down if you can get ahead of the heat wave. I don’t know if I can say it is magic and cools you down instantly but I definitely think it helps take the edge off and cools me down faster!

2018 I had breast cancer diagnosis that put me on a 5yr estrogen blocker/pill chemo regime for 5 years. I have 1 year left, oh how I wish I had heard of this back then. I live in Florida, where most of the time I am stuck inside because of the heat and humidity. The side effects of the pill chemo are unbearable. I have meltdowns. This seems to be working. Hopefully I will get my life back and be able to live again!
