Cool and Smart

This device really does ease my frequent and severe hot flashes. They don’t stop completely, but I feel relief and am glad of it.
I even tried the heat button once, and that helped on a very cold night.
My next sampling will be to curb the hot flashes that begin as I wake in the mornings.
This is an ingenious and attractive tool to mitigate these hormonal temperature swings.

The charger is off but it’s an okay device

It is an investment and you do need to have the time to sit and really discover how to use the device. The charging is off and the company is aware. My first Wave II I got broke completely and my second one they sent me has troubles charging. For the amount of money we are paying for this technology I don’t feel we should have to worry about if it is going to charge or not.
I do quite enjoy the cooling feature for my comfort during any of my hot flashes I get from my POTS/Dysautonomia

I got the Wave 2

I got the Wave 2 for my wife because of her nervous system does not work as it should and she does not adjust to temperature easily. Wave 2 helped a lot and we saw some differences. However that battery dies really fast. We have to change it every day. Another thing we noticed after wearing it for about a month, the magnetic watch band (the magnet) is starting to slide off its place. Other than these few issues we are thankful.

Don’t buy, waste of money.

Returned it after the 30 day trial, total waste of money. Large bulky uncomfortable to wear. Gives a short burst of cold or hot onto a tiny section of wrist. Washing hands in cold or hot water is much more efficient.

Great for anxiety and cooling off when your body is running hot

After exercise or a hot shower it is great to cool off. I also use the warning when my partner has the A/C too high.
I tend to have a lot of anxiety so the cooling and warming is a great way to relax your breath with the pulses.
Has been very useful outside as well but still noticeable when you are under the sun or get a breeze of wind how hot or cold it is outside.

I love my Embr Wave 2 for hot flashes. I think it really works to make me feel cooler. I haven’t used it with the app very often, as the majority of my hot flashes are at night, so I just push the buttons on the device. It gets really cold! I can’t speak about the heating part as I have yet to use it. I am happy with the device, would recommend it and hope there are further developments such as affordable nightclothes with this tech in them!!

While it was, of course, hot and cold from the jump, the way my body learned to respond to those sensations completely morphed. Whether you are heating or cooling, your body adapts to “knowing what to do”
