Review about the wave 2 and it’s cooling feature

If anything it’s just ok and that’s being generous. I thought it would be life changing for me but that’s not the case. It does very little to help with the hot flashes I have due to the medication I’m on. Very disappointing. I also wear it only at night because I like to wear a watch during the day so I can’t put it on my left wrist and it gets in the way when I tried to wear on my right wrist

Warm & cozy

I’ve only tried the Wave 2, so I’m not familiar with the first version. It’s easy to wear (I use the nylon comfort band due to metal allergies) and it’s light. As others said, the only time I run into discomfort is at the computer. I overheat often, and the cooling function can only do so much - sometimes it feels painful on my wrist. To my surprise, now that it’s cooler out, the warming function is my favorite. I love using it to take naps! I use both warming and cooling to regulate through the day so it’s getting more use than I expected.

Cool at work

While at work as a dental hygienist, I have to wear so much protective gear that I get easily overheated. I have been using this for a couple weeks now & I love it. I use the cool setting when I’m working on patients & have a lamp close to my head. I can discreetly press the cool button & work more comfortably. I do think I was wearing it a little too far up my arm at first & maybe too tight, but I’ve figured it out & would recommend to all.

The watch repeatedly stops working and the device is extremely hot to touch. I only wanted it to keep cool. It's horrible and so expensive.

I have several health issues

I have several health issues that result in me getting overheated very easily. I was amazed at how Embr Wave has helped to keep me cool! It is especially nice during the night, I have been sleeping much better. I would recommend anyone who suffers from overheating or even cold hands try Embr Wave. I have even used the warming during a particularly cold day outside. It was very nice for keeping my hands warm without making me feel too warm.

Few things to work on, but AMAZING product

It’s nice at first. I’m not sure if it’s steadily cooling or if it cools up a bit and then cools a bit later, but it helps with hot flashes. But I’m having issues with it when I try to cool it over heats the device, so now I’m more hot than when I started.
I love this product. They have a few kinks to work out, but speaking as a 22yo with severe chronic illness, it’s helped me so much!
Awesome customer service, (the support lady I was assigned to actually follows me on Instagram and she has no idea who I am and I didn’t know who she was. Point being. I hate contacting support for devices. Emailing. Waiting for it. Receiving a confirmation. Finally reaching someone 2 days later. You respond. Takes them 3 more days to respond. Embr Wave’s team is at the TOP of their game.
11/10, would DEFINITELY reccomend!

It works to stop my hot flashes. I can sleep. I highly recommend this product. My only wish is that it was a bit smaller. But if this is the way the product must be to work, that’s ok. I’ve let my Doctors know about this product. I had my GP try it for herself. She appreciated it and I left her with the name of this product.
