I'm the person that will always read review's before I purchase something but couldn't this time. I bought this dishwasher as a package deal including stove, fridge, and microwave. I love everything else in the "Gallery" series but HATE this dishwasher. It doesnt clean well, after the load is complete I have to leave the door open and pull out the shelves to allow the dishes to finish drying. If you leave the door closed too long ( couple days) the moisture inside creates like a moldy smell and you have to wash them all over again, aside from the funky moldy smell when its not in use. It doesn't clean the dishes very well and I'm the type of person who washes them a little before I put them in there. The door is super top heavy and you have to lower it with your hand all the way down or it will slam down. This is by far the worst purchase of my appliance history. I bought it April 2011. Hope this review helps someone.

This dishwasher has lots of great features, but the design is leaves much to be desired.
The door is very top heavy and has to either be closed all the way or open all the way. The reason it would be good for the door to be partially open is this would allow the dishes to dry, which they do not do under normal operations.

The design flaw which is most annoying has to do with the top washing wand. When you pull out the top tray and load it you have to reach in and align the washing wand to a certain angle in order to push the tray back in for washing. Either the design has the wand too low or the upper tray to high, or both. Which ever it is, it is annoying. We have found it easier to remove the wand between washings in order to keep from having to align the wand or pick it up from the bottom of the washer.
It could be better at washing dishes, as well. I could live with having to wash dishes a second time if the wand design wasn't so annoying.
