refresh lag and freezing

Had to upgrade due to a lot of apps requiring a newer operating system. Had a Galaxy S9 so I compared phone to that as it was meeting my needs. The A36 5G seem to meet my wants. After getting it I find a lot of stuttering and refresh lag over all apps. Some apps just freeze which never happened on the S9.
It is frustrating as my S9 had a lot less Ram and Memory but still ran smooth even though I almost maxed out the memory.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
