I've had every phone imaginable but the Samsung A series gets the best rating from me. Samsung a36 always has incredible service and how easily you can change apps, split the screen, make a call, connect other devices....it all gets an A ÷ in my book.

This phone is great, except for one thing...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone was what I got to replace my Galaxy 9s due to the 5g upgrade. Overall, I've had no problems with it. I really like the bigger screen and the larger memory card storage, from 250 gigabytes to 1 terabyte capacity BUT while that's great, the fact that the card is nearly impossible to access not to mention use at all. This I don't understand. Some years ago, I had a phone which gave you a menu option to save to the memory card as well as utillities to view it, delete items, move files and maintain the space for optimum speed and use. So I know it can be done yet with all the things that the Samsung Galaxy does offer, this is something that it does and always has seemed to have been overlooked making all that extra memory, basically unusable unfortunately although, it does recognize the card and available memory. If you can't use it, why offer it at all ?

This phone is practically unusable; missed calls, bad photos (shutter lags 2 seconds and is totally random), slow software, glitchy apps, I think that possibly the One UI 7/8 is too much for the phone. Animations would freeze and it would have a 2-3 second lag to do almost anything. I followed the online help as best I could but gave up. Bought this phone after downsizing from the Fold 6, and it is the 5th Samsung I’ve owned and have been happy with all of them. Unfortunately, discovered that I cannot even return this phone after 15 days; tried calling Samsung multiple times, tried chatting online with an expert to no avail… do not buy this no matter how cheap it is. It’s not worth the hassle, get an S level phone or another brand if you want a budget phone with software that doesn’t need the processing speed that the A36 simply does not have. Going to use this as a paper weight in my junk drawer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
