Clean, simple to use UI

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this device specifically to use the Hotspot to run my laptop for college courses online. I also stream a significant amount on it; music, movies, series, documentaries, etc as well as play several "saga" type games.
I haven't set up any of the Galaxy AI platforms as of yet, but I used to run Bixby on my Note 8. This phone has 128g on board and lots of little extras tha flagship phones include, such as the audio EQ feature for use with your phone speaker or an external Bluetooth, at an affordable price.

No wireless charging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this phone for someone else but life got in the way and I had to activate on my number to get the discount.
So I went from an S22 to the A36.
I did not realize they still made phones without wireless charging!
The phone works well enough with the exception that it unlocks in your pocket.
This leads to random changes in settings.

Wireless charging isn't available on the A Series at the moment, but the 5000 mAh battery ensures all-day usage to support your daily activities. Sometimes, daily movements in your pocket or bag can cause the phone to wake or dial unintentionally. Features like Lift to wake and Double tap to wake might be causing this. You can disable these features individually, but turning both off might be more effective. To do that, go to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures, and toggle off Lift to wake. Best phone for people on a budget!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone has practically all the features a Galaxy S, Z, or Flip series has (minus the folding part lol) and still is at a reasonable price! The camera is excellent, the screen is great, they are durable and the Galaxy AI works just as great! The phone itself is not to big but not to small either! Watching movies on it is great!

Also I am rough on my phones... but this one is extremely durable. It has withstanded all drops and falls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't use the Galaxy AI too often, but it helps me when I do. The phone is great for streaming, movies, games, ebooks, everything really. I always get Samsung because I trust the brand and the products never let me down. They also outlast competitors for less money. I've never had a complaint with my Galaxy, nor the previous one. Easy to setup and easy to use. Features are awesome and keep me up to date.

Defective Screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rated the device 3 stars due to the defective screen. It's a good efficient phone, as it's packed with great features and AI too, which let's you circle objects in the pictures to look into more details, but the screen went black suddenly and doesn't come back on. Everything else seems to continue to work, besides the screen. If that problem can be fixed then it would be rated a 4 star.

If your device only shows a blank screen, there are several things to check. Your battery might be dead, or the device may need a reset. Try doing a force restart by pressing and holding the Power (or Side) button and Volume down button for 20 seconds. If your device has a removable battery, take it out for 60 seconds and then reinsert it. Make sure you're using an authentic Samsung charger to ensure safe charging. Additional troubleshooting tips for a black screen can be found below. Samsung has also partnered with uBreakiFix for authorized repairs—you can visit any location for examination and repair.
