What’s important to me is there’s no feedback and

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Cerecon Beacon OTC hearing aids, I was like yeah right it will not work for me. I’m deaf in one ear and only have 30% hearing in the other. The ones I tried hurt, don’t stay in, has a lot of feedback, but to my surprise after wearing it for a week I hear better than I have been in years, they don’t hurt, no feedback, no buying batteries, you just charge them in its own case, they come with cord. Also I can steam music, and take calls. You can adjust the volume to what comfortable for you.

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Beacon Hearing Aids worked pretty good for me. I liked: They do a little test so they can be programmed to fit your hearing needs. They came with multiple size ear domes so I was able to get a comfortable fit. They also came with a little cleaning kit and a charging case. They charged quickly and you can charge them three times before you need to recharge the case. There is an app you can use with your phone to adjust volume and the setting you are in. (normal, outdoors, restaurant or streaming music). When everything was adjusted right for me, they definitely helped with my hearing. Downside: Although it was listed as a feature, it did not mask my tinnitus, but this is not a guarantee. And to be fair, my prescription hearing aids don’t either. They do on occasion get staticky and make other noises in your ears. The right one would turn off sometimes even after cleaning. There is a 60 day trial period so if you have mild to moderate hearing loss, I would give them a try.

Ceretone Beacon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted the Ceretone Beacon hearing aids complimentary to review. The hearing aids come in a handy case that is also used to charge them. I thought it was nice that batteries were not needed. The hearing aids came with detailed instructions of how to set them up and there is even an app that you can use to control them and connect to blue tooth on your phone. There were detailed instructions of how to wear them over the first few weeks to get used to them. A first the sound can be overwhelming. But the instructions were to gradually wear them and use them in different settings to get used to the sound. After using them for several weeks as instructed I am not sure these are right for me. It was very hard to differentiate different sounds and everything was just amplified. I could not get used to them. I understand that these are not prescription hearing aids but crowd situations were difficult. I think the blue tooth function is helpful but using them in crowded loud places was hard. The size was nice. They are very small and discreet and the volume on the part that goes over the ear was easy to use.
