One of the hearing aids didn't work even though it was charged

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With these hearing aids, one of them wasn't turning on even though it showed that it was charged. I needed both hearing aids to work in order to test them properly. I wasn't able to get it to work, and I wasn't helped with getting a replacement. The sound was very loud with the one hearing aid that was working, and it also had some interference. The controls were easy to use.

Ceretone OTC hearing aids, solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried these behind ear hearing aids and they are pretty solid and durable. The comfort could be better but sound is decent and i for little to no feedback. Its a bit too hard for ke to feel comfortable. Good volume control.

The clarity they give

Love the reliability and clarity of these hearing aids. The weight, size and volume is spot on. They are easy to use and I don’t get feedback like some aids do. I have a hard time keeping hearing aids in but these never came out.

Clear sound, comfort, controls—great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been very pleased with the Ceretone Solid behind-the-ear hearing aids. They are comfortable to wear, easy to use, and the sound quality is clear without feeling overly amplified. The controls are especially good and make it very easy to adjust them as needed. Setup was fairly straightforward, although it did take me a little while to get rid of some initial whistling. Once I figured out the right fit and adjustments, that improved considerably. My only other drawback is the size. The hearing aids themselves are comfortable, but because I wear glasses, having both behind my ears makes my glasses feel a little less stable than usual. It's not uncomfortable, but they do compete for space behind my ears. Overall, the Ceretone Solid has worked very well for me. The controls are excellent, they're comfortable, and they provide good sound quality. For the price, I think they offer very good value. I would definitely recommend them, with the small caveat that glasses wearers may notice the larger behind-the-ear design.

Easy to Use

Very Nice Set Of Hearing Aids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the Ceretone Hearing Aids Solid Behind the Ear (Model CE-D12BT).
I have been wearing hearing aids for about 10 years and decided to give these a try to see if there was any noticeable difference in my hearing using some of the settings that these offer.
The hearing aids themselves seem well made. The wire that’s connects the main body to the earpiece is fairly stiff and will retain its shape which helps in inserting the earpiece. There are 3 different size earbuds included (S,M,L). There is also what they call a retention wire, which is really just a thin piece of nylon that you pull to remove the earpiece from your ear. You are supposed to tuck this in the bowl of your ear, but I had trouble keeping it there. I finally cut part of it off and then was able to make it stay tucked in.
Some of the nice features are that these are rechargeable, and a full charge will last all day. The volume setting has 6 levels and each hearing aid is independent of the other. They also offer 4 different listening modes for different environment settings. They are Normal, Restaurant, Outdoor and Music. I had the opportunity to try all 4 of these out and although I could notice some difference between Normal and the other settings, the Restaurant setting seem to help the most in blocking some of the surroundings sounds coming from around me while in a restaurant making it easier to hear the person speaking to me. I also notice that the Music setting seemed to make the music a little sharper. I’m for sure other users would experience different results based on their type of hearing lost.
It would be nice if these would Bluetooth to your phone. That would also give you the capabilities to use these earbuds for speaking on the phone and to listen to music or other streaming services.
If you are looking for OTC hearing aids, these would be worth a try. They fit comfortably and the enhanced sound quality is clear and crisp.

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ceretone Solid behind the ear hearing aids were pretty good. They fit comfortably and even though they are larger than other hearing aids I have tried they were still pretty lightweight. Although they somewhat seemed to be more amplifiers rather than hearing aids, I was still pretty happy with them. The sound was clear and the volume was adjustable. I found the charging case to be pretty big as I prefer something smaller and more portable. They are not Bluetooth enabled so all adjustments had to be done using tiny switches right on the hearing aids. You do have to remember to turn them off before putting them in the charging case or the batteries will not charge. Overall, I think these are a good value and would work well for someone with low to moderate hearing loss.
