Picture quality was ok for 1080p but buggy

The projector looked good, when it worked. Not sure if it was just my unit but it would sometimes freeze, requiring it to be unplugged for a few seconds and powered up again for it to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been wanting to get a projector for years but never found one at a price point I felt reasonable for what I was getting. Stoked to have gotten this on sale, and I have been using this daily. With the features and quality, it is absolutely worth every penny. I love it so much.
Pros:
- portable
- good sound
- good light - I use it midday and it's still very usable, and amazing in complete darkness
- portable battery attachment lasts a good 4 hours when being run constantly
- Samsung TV is a wonderful add on
- VERY easy to use

Cons:
- picture could be sharper
- for an almost $1,000 piece of tech, you aren't given an adaptor for micro HDMI. We all know that most of us don't just have that on hand
- you definitely need the battery that is sold separately to truly make it portable, so unless it's on a promo that includes the battery, it's another $300+ expense
- auto keystone can adjust when someone walks through the viewing area (unavoidable) and sometimes it's off kilter, so it's not 100% in line with the viewing area

I’m pretty disappointed with this unit, mainly because it’s horribly slow and half the time just refuses to show anything but a solid green screen on startup. Once you do manage to get it going, it works great. But that usually takes 5-10 tries of unplugging it and retrying. Over 8 ish months of ownership I’ve been more frustrated than not with it

overpriced garbage... auto keystone and auto focus stopped working after a month and samsung's software is pretty limited and annoying. projector light is weak... I just wish I didn't buy this garbage

One of the best products I’ve bought from Samsung

I got this product summer time as I was looking for a product to watch tv without buying a real tv and this has met my needs. I can view screen up to 100 inches and I noticed there were different models. I got the SP-LSP3BLAXZC which is the latest model to this one and for the most part everything works fine, I project it to a white wall and it’s clear, the projector speakers are good enough but if you want to go buck wild, you can connect it to a Bluetooth speaker or sound bar. I even use my Firestick with it and it’s pretty good, the only downside is that Samsung has limited applications in their App Store so this should be improved upon. It would also be nice if this could come in 4k but the 1080p is pretty clear as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
