The keyboard Apple *should* make!

I've been looking forever for a backlit keyboard for my Mac mini in my recording studio, which is regularly dimly lit to maintain a more creative mood. However, that makes typing difficult. It baffles me that Apple has had backlit keyboards in their laptops for decades, but they can't put LEDs into their peripheries. I've tried a Logitech keyboard which is severely more expensive than Satechi, isn't as classy, and the backlight turns off after three seconds of not using it. What's the point of that? The Satechi stays on – after a while the LEDs go a bit dim, but the keys are still visible, which is the point of backlit keys, isn't it? I also like in particular the X2 because it has a numeric keypad which I use a lot, but not the extra keys on an 101/102 model such as INS/HOME/DEL etc. which I never use. That makes this keyboard almost as compact as the Magic Keyboard, with the added benefit of the numeric keys. I'm highly convinced that this will be my favorite keyboard for a long time. I'm glad I found this!

This was the perfect addition to my desk, as someone who uses multiple devices have one keyboard that can switch between them makes setup and use a breeze. I love the way it blends with apple devices and feels great typing on the keys. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for next keyboard.

Love it, very easy to connect via Bluetooth to 2 separate laptops on each occasion - love the feel of the keyboard itself quick and responsive battery life is fantastic, would I buy another one in the future absolutely.

A solid mid keyboard

This is the right size (not too big and not too small) and has good travel with a good feel while typing. It compares with the Apple keyboards very well, with good color scheme and backlighting which Apple does not have. I'm torn between ordering more of this kind or another brand, but this is a good value.

Good feel, solid construction.

No complaints from the keyboard; the feel is decent for a non-full stroke mechanical.Seems construction is solid, and works well with the Mac Mini M4 Pro. Standard (ground) shipping is a bit slow, though, to the East coast.

Decent Keyboard !

It is a great secondary keyboard. Not much a fan of the battery life compared to other keyboards I have used. The experience of key taps is little flat. There is scope of small improvement to achieve more depth to the typing experience.
