This product does NOT get clothes clean.

I bought this washer about three months ago and I HATE IT.The water level is way below the clothes level, and there's no way to change it. I always have to use the extra rinse or rewash the whole load. The clothes are not clean after the wash.I have been buying Maytag for fifty years, but I will not get another one, as there's no control over the wash cycle. I'm extremely disappointed and wish I had never bought it. I want my old one back. Green is not always the way to go. I'm surely not saving any water, as I wash everything twice.

I'd been wanting to buy this washer for ages, and thought that Maytag still meant Quality. Now, I'm not so sure. It doesn't matter what cycle I use because the machine will only go partway into a cycle before it shuts off. Not pause for unbalanced load, but actually power down and beep as if it had finished the cycle. I have to keep restarting the machine in order to get it as far as maybe even rinsing. It won't even spin out a load on its own. I have to set the dial for the spin cycle to get it to finish the job. It took almost 2 1/2 hours to do a small load of laundry last night. Did I mention that I've only owned this thing for less than 36 hours?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All the bells and whistles, just won't clean clothes.

Large capacity, safety features and multiple cycles caught my eye. But my colors come out with lint on them and the washer fails to remove dirt stains unless they are scrubbed Pre-wash with a stain remover. Just think that if it had an agitator, it might do a better job cleaning. Large loads can take up to 1:45 per load, with the extra cycle features! But it's very quiet and seems to clean the white clothes well. Also a great water saver too.

Terribly loud during wash/rinse

My clothes get cleaned, but the motor noise during wash/rinse is very irritating; sometimes it sounds like it is grinding gears.We have had service out and enough gotten a new floor panwithout grooves, but noise remains. Service says it is normal. I'd like to throw it out the window. I would never purchase it again or recommend it to anyone. I can't believe in this day and age that a washing machine motor sounds like this does.

Probably he wors machine I never bought! If I knew a High Efficiency washer worked like this I would have bought the old style!

Our washer is not getting our clothes clean. We have tried several different detergents. They don't work like our old washer. We use the proper amount of detergent as well. We have to wash our clothes twice at times to get them as clean as before. My wife and I would not recommend this washer to anyone. We are looking to return the washer.

I wish that I would had done my reseach before purchasing this machine. You are not able to soak clothes nor are you able to wash if the cycle has not complete. I have had to drain and spin four times, unplug the machine and waited two days and still could not wash my clothes. I got so frustrated that I went to the wash house. If the computer is stuck YOU ARE STRUCK. Please do not purchase this machine. You will be so disappointed and remember the warrantly do not include labor. I wish I could trade and get another type of machine.
