Would definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this picnic basket. The quality of the pieces are very well made and were individually wrapped. The picnic basket itself is quite large and perfect for little hands.
The reason I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars is it only came with one sandwich. My suggestion would be to eliminate the loaf of bread and add another sandwich so that their playmate can also have one. Overall this cute picnic basket makes for a great gift for pretend play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play set is so cute and fun to play with it has everything for a pretend picnic it has tea cups milk juice and more. I played it with my kids and they loved it they where entertained the time playing

Adorable Picnic Set With Lots of Creative Play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cute little pretend picnic set. The 7 year old girl who used it had fun both having indoor picnics, as well as taking it to the park for an outdoor pretend picnic. The individual pieces are very durable, have excellent painting on them and look very realistic. They are made to maximize the creative play potential, and allow her to pretend she's serving, cutting, preparing and eating her picnic foods. The very sturdy basket makes it super easy to store and very portable for taking along to park or friend's house. Would recommend!

Adorable wooden food play set with basket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves this picnic basket with play food set. The food is made out of quality wood and is durable. It came with a variety of items perfect for a play picnic. She loves setting out the picnic blanket indoors or outdoors and will play for a very long time with or without me. The blanket does repel dirt and stains and the food is easily wiped down. She loves making pretend sandwiches and cutting the bread. She even uses the basket to carry around small stuffed animals and other items even when not playing with the food items. She was disappointed that the thermos does not unscrew/open, but from a parent’s perspective at least less parts to lose. The design and colors are perfect. I love the whole style of this toy. It is high quality and durable, and seems like a toy that can be handed down multiple times even if the child outgrows it or loses interest. Very satisfied and would recommend to any child who loves pretend play with food items.

Great product for imagination and sharing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is amazing for little learners. It has a little blanket, 2 tea cups, a sandwich, a felt cheese slice, and a some wooden fruit. The strawberries are small so I took those away because we have a baby, so small piece alert. I'm teaching our little boy to cook and share and he loves to make us food with this set. Fantastic wicker basket to keep the parts inside. Durable , easy to clean and encourages imagination play.

Picnic Time with my Preschooler!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old was so excited when this product arrived on our front porch. It came packaged directly in the plastic picnic basket, being held in by a piece of carboard to cover the top. Opening the item was it's own excitement. The first piece revealed was the picnic blanket, which immediately got laid down for us to start our picnic planning. Each piece was individually wrapped in tissue paper, and my daughter was ecstatic to see what new piece she would unveil. Piece by piece, our picnic was starting to come together, with sandwiches, cakes, bread, fruits, drinks and all the tableware needed. This item came with 17 food pieces, 12 tableware, a picnic basket and blanket. The lettuce and cheese were made of felt, which I think made the sandwich less bulky than had it all been made with wood. The loaf of bread has velcro, so your child can practice their cutting skills. The wooden pieces feel high quality, and the colors made it feel a lot more fun than some of the other bland wooden toys on the market. The only downfall was the cardboard platter that was included, ours was already falling apart while opening the product, so I'm not sure how long it will hold up. Overall, this is a super fun product and great for imaginary play!

Cute picnic set, encourages imaginative play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How fun is this little picnic set?? My 5-year old daughter enjoys playing with pretend food at our house, but we’ve never seen a picnic set before. I wasn’t sure how this play food and basket’s quality would be in comparison to the toy food we already have, but upon receiving it it’s fantastic. The basket is sturdy, most of the food is made of wood, others some kind of felt material. And the whole set was packaged so nicely - each food item individually wrapped in tissue paper so it wouldn’t damage one another in transit or storage.
My daughter enjoys spreading out the little blanket that’s included on the floor and setting up the picnic. Most often she has pretended to play restaurant with her little sister or a picnic with her stuffed animals. But this set has also offered her freedom in imagination, as she can use the basket to store whatever toys she wants, or she will sometimes use the blanket as a dress-up accessory.
My favorite part is the easy clean-up. All the food, utensils, cups, and blanket fit easily in the basket, and it’s not an overwhelming amount of pieces (about 30 pieces, I believe). Overall, so happy with this toy for my kids.

This is a great toy for many reasons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my daughters (8 and 2) love this set! My 8 year old uses it in her play kitchen to make meals. My 2 year old likes to have picnics. I like that it is made of sturdy feeling wood so i dont worry about it breaking or small pieces coming off. The colors are bright so the 2 year old and i can work on colors and counting during our picnics.
