Just ok per my son

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Steve figurine has some fun details—he comes with his sword, a bag, and even a chicken leg, which is a nice touch. However, the likeness of Steve’s face didn’t really impress my son. He was excited at first, but quickly lost interest when he noticed the face didn’t quite match what he was expecting from the movie.
Also, getting Steve to actually hold the accessories took some maneuvering. My son needed help from me to get the sword and chicken leg to stay in place. Overall, it’s an okay addition for a Minecraft fan, but we were hoping for something a bit more exciting and easier to play with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice simple Minecraft Steve figure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Minecraft Steve figure looks exaclty like the character from the movie. I believe the accesories could have been better. My 7 year old loved that it came with a sword but he also mentioned that he wished it came with the blue cube to put inside his satchel. Overall its a pretty neat toy but more on the collectible side for display based on my sons interaction with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My seven-year-old loved Steve. He had lots of accessories he was about the perfect size he has played with it ever since he unwrapped. It goes good with his other Minecraft toys. he said it looks just like Steve from the movie, which is a very good thing. The product was made well and came with three accessories, the sword, the chicken, and the over the neck purse for holding the chicken, although the purse does not fit very well so that accessory is not played with as much as the other two

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved the Minecraft movie and are constantly saying the line “ I am Steve!” so I thought they would love to have this toy. My 12 year old has it on display in her room. It’s very well made and the sword, and food easily fit in his hands and don’t fall out. The bag fits great around him as well. Looks just like the character!

Great character from a great movie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys 7 and 8 LOVED This Steve character. They could not wait to open it and have him use all of his accessories. They walked around randomly quoting the movie. And they made Steve sing with his “lava chicken.” It has been very entertaining. The details and quality are top notch! the face could look a little more like Jackie Black, but from afar you know it’s him. I would definitely recommend this product! My kiddos are already asking for the other characters! I received this product for free through the Mattel Play, Rate & Review Program in exchange for my honest opinion.

Lava Chicken’s creator shines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This figure was instantly beloved by my kids. There was many rounds of “Steve’s Lava Chicken” with the figure leading the dance number. When I first received it I loved the retro/vintage feel of the action figures I grew up with. The articulation is good, but the top of the legs are really stiff so he couldn’t be posed sitting down. My son had a toy car he wanted Steve to drive but he couldn’t fit because of the bend. That was the only complaint. The likeness is very good.

He took it to the baseball fields and all his friends were playing with it. The durable is amazing being that a whole group of 6 year olds were playing.
