Response from Samsung USBy R&R TeamJanuary 27, 2026
Aloha Djmute,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with using the Samsung Galaxy Watch7. Your constructive feedback allows us to make improvements on our devices. It sounds like you may be experiencing some conflicts with the automatic Sleep Mode or Battery Saver routines on your device. To resolve this, please check your Modes and Routines in the Galaxy Wearable app and turn off "Sync modes" with your phone, ensuring Sleep Mode/Bedtime Mode is not forcing the setting off. The Battery saver mode will also disable this feature. Be sure to restart your device after ensuring that your settings have been changed. Feel free to check out the resources shared below. If you have any questions or if you would like any further assistance afterward, let us know by reaching out to Samsung Support. We're always happy to help! Thanks for being a faithful Samsung customer.

Texting problem
on November 18, 2024

I can only send texts when it wants me to, if I reset the watch then I can send 2 or 3 text on it before it stops letting me, then it will randomly let me send 1 or 2 text again when it feels like it. This only happens when I try and reply to a message.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for reaching out to share your experience with the Galaxy Watch7! We always appreciate getting feedback from our customers. With the Watch7, you can easily respond to texts on the go, right from your wrist. The Suggested Replies feature, powered by Galaxy AI, analyzes your text conversations and offers simple suggestions for how to respond. If your Samsung smartwatch (LTE) is having mobile data difficulties, is unable to answer calls, receive texts, or failing to display your phone number in the Settings menu, first ensure that it is connected to your phone via Bluetooth through the Galaxy Wearable app, as you will not receive incoming calls if connected only via Wi-Fi. If the connection seems fine, you may need to unpair and then re-pair your watch. If these steps do not work, consider contacting your carrier for assistance with network options or activation support. For additional troubleshooting options, please refer to the attached link, and if needed, do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Galaxy Watch 7 Impresses, Watch 8 Disappoints

I’ve been really impressed with the Galaxy Watch 7 – sleek design, smooth performance, and overall it feels like a premium smartwatch. I was genuinely excited for the Watch 8, but honestly, the design is a big letdown. It doesn’t have the same clean and stylish look that makes the 7 so appealing. I really wanted to upgrade, but the 8’s design just feels off and disappointing. For now, I’ll stick with the Watch 7 because it simply looks and feels better.

Nice watch, good features!

So I got this watch my first smart watch so I guess I don't have anything to compare it to. I think the watch works great. It has a pretty good number of apps and they always add more. The screen is good. The slide typing if careful is accurate however for some reason like most Samsung devices of its wet is almost impossible to use the screen. It does show up good and clear on a sunny day unlike my s25+ which I can barely see half the time. The battery life does kinda suck. If I could wear it all night and then charge it while I take a shower that works be great but it needs a couple hours to get full charge. They say to check out some article on how to get better battery life but 1, it doesn't take you to that article, 2. The article said some really basic crap. Basically it says to put it in watch only mode to get days off battery life. Which is defeating the purpose of having a smart watch. Even if I'm power saving mode, no AOD, with Wi-Fi off, Bluetooth is nessacary if you need to keep it connected to phone, 50% bright, quick turn off display still get a full day off you don't really use it at all. Not ideal. You should be and to use apps keep it in a power saving mode and get at least a full 24 hours out of it. They need to work on the software keeping services minimal auto dimming when not looking at it, only having sensors run when triggered, etc, to get that power consumtion down and give it just 50ma more size would maybe give it two to three days of use. Or give it a solar cell somewhere so it gets charged even a little bit by the sun. Or super fast charging to go from 15%to 100% in a half hour or less.. otherwise I thinks it's great. Wish they were working on glasses that could be stand alone instead of a watch though.
