Fun pretend play, durable, wide age range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is adorable and made of wood which makes me feel good about giving it to my kids. It’s easy to store as the pieces attach together. The candles are a cute addition. My three year old and five year old both like the pretend play, and any toy that spans a wide age range and is sustainably sourced seems like a good value to me!

Great for kids young and old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great play cake set young kids and older ones as well. I love the solid wood construction, it feels as if it will last forever. It is also nice to have a complete set with a serving tray and utensil for more thorough pretend play. The Velcro fasteners do a good job of holding the pieces together, while still allowing the pieces to be easily separated using the provided serving utensil . My 8 year old loves this addition to his play kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cake is so cute. It is made out of wood and very colorful. It has a wooden plate and wooden cake cutter. The cake is hold together with velcro circles on the sides of the cake slices. It also comes with wooden candles that should fit in the holes on top of the cake slices. Unfortunately the holes are bigger than the bottom of the candles so they don’t stand up straight. All in all this is such a cute little cake for kids to play with.

Fun For Littles to Celebrate Birthdays Everyday

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved this wooden birthday cake because he could take the cake apart as well as place candles on it to sing the happy birthday song. I felt that the candles did not stay up very well in the cake. If there was some velcro on the tips of the candles they would stay in there straight. The cake spatula was a bit too large so he struggled with "cutting"the cake unless I pushed the slices away from each other first.

Fun to cut birthday cake!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cute birthday cake. It is wooden and brightly colored inside. The slices are held together with a circle of velcro. I think this toy will hold up very well over time. My child has really enjoyed "slicing" the cake with the wooden knife/spatula and serving it to me. The candles are cute but I'm not overly excited about them as they dont stick with velcro, they just sit loosly in the cake. This means they tend to tip and are wobbly when you cut the cake. This toy has a cute serving tray that the cake sits on, it would be cute it there were small serving plates too, for added playability. Overall it's a very cute colorful cake that my kid enjoys cutting and serving. I don't know how long the candles will last before they get lost but we will enjoy the cake for a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fisher-Price Wooden Cake is an adorable toy that kids will love to play with, pretend to eat, slice, count and learn from this simple cake toy. The slices have a small velcro sticker so that the slices stay together but easy to pull apart. The candles are cute and fun! The cake is decorated simple yet confetti fun! The wooden slicer and serving tray is perfect! My daughter loves to play pretend with food and this birthday cake is great for that! Singing, counting and playing pretend is fun at any age! To be able to serve the cake is a great learning experience for any child. This helps with dexterity, counting,imagination and more!Non toxic paint is included! 14 pieces in total to play and interact with. Definitely a fun time for all! The slices have beautiful rows of rainbow colors. My kids love this, and I love Fisher Price toys, they last, strong, interactive, learning tools, quality made and holds my child's interest.I highly recommend this wooden birthday cake toy! The wooden pieces are fun and I prefer wooden toys over plastic, and so does my children. The candles fit in the holes on top of the cake or they can stand by themselves on a table. The candles do fall off the cake easily though, that's the only down side. The serving utensil can easily pick up a slice of cake from the serving tray. This cake is so much fun! I love to plat pretend with it as well as my kids do! Nothing is better that playing pretend with your child. It opens up a whole new world of possibilities!

Cute gender neutral wooden cake

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am sharing this honest review as I received the product for free. Overall, this is a super cute gender neutral birthday cake. The Velcro holding the slices together is nice and strong and I love the detail of the inner layers of the cake. The candles are cute and realistic looking. There isn’t Velcro to hold the candles in place but the hollowed out holes in the slices of cake are deep enough to contain them (though they may wobble and lean a little bit). The wooden plate is a nice touch although I wish it was a bit bigger or had an edge to it to keep it on a bit more (it’s slippery and the cake can slide if the child is carrying it). Some cons of this toy are that the cake server is smaller than the cake slice and can be difficult to balance/slice. I also wish that it came with a knife or a larger server. The other thing that’s less than ideal in my opinion, is that the Fisher Price logo is painted on the top of one of the slices. I wish it was on the plate, server, or even the bottom of one of the slices of cake. Overall, I like this cake and my daughter has fun playing with it.
