Good. Cooked a brisket for 13 hours and was perfect. One thing that was missing was a temperature probe. Other than that it performed flawlessly.

I bought a Z Grill so that I would have a bit smaller of a smoker than my big commercial one. The box (pit) isn't bad but the controller sucks, it won't hold a set temp and keeps running up. I purchased a PID controller from Smoke Daddy and replaced the garbage on the Z Grill and now it works great. On hind sight I should have just paid a bit more and bought an actual GOOD grill with a better controller from someone else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my grill! Cooked on it three times now and everything comes out perfect. Heat retention is excellent. Only thing I wished it had was a way to empty the hopper to use different pellets. All in all excellent product. 👌

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded to the 1000D3E. Ordered it to smoke turkey for Thanksgiving. Received it in 3 days! Taste and tenderness was perfect. Skin didn’t crisp up, so I will need to work on that. Will be smoking 3 pork butts next week. Looking forward to it.

Just got this grill about 2 weeks ago...already have made an incredible 12# beef brisket...turned out amazing. Last weekend did a pork butt and used a little holy gospel rub...6 hours later at 225F we had the best pulled pork I've tasted...this pellet grill makes cooking easy and enjoyable...it's an absolute must!!! thank you Zgrills!!
