First time pellet grill owner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grill was easy to set up, followed the instructions and was ready to go. Everything worked as advertised and it was easier than my old gas grill. I probably open it too much but that is what I was used to doing. I am still learning the finer points but everything has turned out good so far and have got compliments on the taste.

Love the taller wider pellet hopper/ SS lid. It holds a 20lb bag compared to only 18 in a traeger.
Make sure you follow the initial instructions for first start up very important. It cooked a little hotter than the setting the first time but after that it settled down quite nicely. I’m very happy with grill. My only suggestion is make it a little clearer that the 1000 doesn’t have a dump shut for some reason I thought it had one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Built better than a traeger! Went together flawlessly and imagine all mounting holes were where they were supposed to be. Easy set up as well. Got to 500 deg then held at 425 on a 50 deg day. Might as a lid gasket but whoohooo!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a 700E for 3 years now and have really enjoyed the great food it creates. It stopped working a couple of weeks ago so I ordered the 1000D3E so I could continue having that great ZGrill results. While waiting for the 1000D3E to be delivered I discovered troubleshooting ZGrill tips on Youtube and was able to get the 700E working again. So now I have the conundrum of having 2 great pellet grills to use. I will use one type of pellets in one and the blend in the other. I love my ZGrills.
