[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Z 1000 grill and it performs AS ADVERTISED!!! It’s very well constructed, easy to assemble and even easier to operate. The digital thermometer takes all the guess work out of cook time. So far, I’m very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Z Grills 1000E Wood Pellet Grill Smoker is fantastic. Set up was easy, it's simple to use, cooks accurately and is easy to clean. The recipes on the Z Grill website are great. The smoke flavor is outstanding.

Although I was unfortunate enough to have some shipping damage, Wayne was on top of it and quickly sent me replacement parts to make my grill whole and perfect. Even while damaged the grill is spot on and performs perfectly. It hold temp to 3 degrees of what is set and I can leave it alone for 8 hrs without worry. I am most pleased with this grill. Thanks again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grill is excellent quality and I believe I will have it for years to come. One small design issue is that the handle to move the grill is on the hopper, rather than the more structurally stable part of the grill. The wheels should be moved to the opposite side than the instructions suggest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly was straight forward and well explained. The only issue was the installation of little decorative grommets on the main handle wasn’t shown. Easily figured it out when they were the only leftover parts though. First burn is well explained and instructions are not difficult to follow. First cook was two spatchcocked chickens and a couple pans of cornbread muffins. Everything turned out great. Next I went big! Full brisket for Mother’s Day. No pressure there! Set the grill to smoke and let the meat go for 8 hours overnight. Got up in the morning, wrapped it and turned the temp to 250. About 8 hours later I pulled it off. Amazing! I have a digital probe and was able to graph the temp for the whole process. It moved very little. You can’t beat cooking for 16 hours and only having to touch the grill and food twice. I filled the hopper (20 lbs) and it may have used about 10% of the pellets. Next up was burgers. Cooked them on high. Absolutely delicious! I have to say that we are extremely impressed so far. The only con I have come across is the metal piece in the hopper. I wanted to change from Apple pellets to Hickory so o needed to empty out the hopper. The metal piece is screwed in so I had to take out the four screws to be able to scoop out the pellets. After looking at the fit I decided that it didn’t really need the screws so I just put it back without them which will allow for easier clean out down the road. Overall, I am extremely happy with the smoker and can’t wait to try out more recipes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The issue I had with the grill is temperature control. I did the original burn in as published the day before so that wasn’t the problem. I set it at 225 and it went to over 300 degrees. I reduced the temp to 180 and it seemed to stay between that and 230 degrees. I read somewhere that you had to wait 45 minutes for the control to stay stable. That seemed to work, but it sure is a waste of pellets and time.
