[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 1000E, it was shipped in 2 boxes and the boxes arrived on separate days. Bit of a buzz kill but I'm over it now. Easy to put together and first run was a breeze. This is my first pellet smoker and I'm glad I finally bought one. It holds temps nice despite the cold air outside and at low temps it smokes really well. I did a 22lbs turkey for Thanksgiving and it was phenomenal! Best turkey I've ever eaten...not just saying that either. I've also done salmon, beef short ribs, chicken, burger, and lots of vegies. It's versatile and everything comes out amazing! Best part is not having to babysit the grill which is what drew me in. Thanks Z Grills!

Best Chicken and Turkey on my new grill!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First tried something small and cooked chicken thighs for my wife and I. We agreed it was the best chicken I had ever made. I then went big and did a whole turkey for Thanksgiving for ourselves and a few close friends. I am now the official turkey cooker for every Thanksgiving. Everyone is still going on about how it was the best tasting and juiciest turkey they ever had. In the past I have slow smoked and deep fried turkeys. This was by far the best!!! We have been told we are now bringing the turkey every year!!!!! Mike

Slow Cooking made Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been slow cooking smoked BBQ meats for years. From 1992-2008 I owned two Sothern Pride smokers and became accustomed to cooking for hours at a time. The only hold back is that with my smoker is providing fuel. Every few hours you needed to check the wood because cooking without wood will dried the meat.
I cooked with my new E1000 Zgrill past weekend and was amazed at the outcome. I slow cooked for eight hours after filling the hopper with hickory pellets and only used a third of the pellets. When I took the baby back ribs off the grill the meat was falling off the bone. I also cooked chicken but took it off 2 hours earlier and loved the tenderness and flavor and juiciness of the meat. I plan on cooking Brisket and pork butt this week and can't wait.
