Great idea but not extendable and only 4 lights - deal breaker for me

Looks great, but useless to me if it can't be connected to additional sets or extended. Four lights is quite limited.
Please consider coming out with a version that can either by connected to additional sets or that has longer runs with more lights, such as 8 or 12.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the Govee path lights and the Govee outdoor lights pro. I was very disappointed with the Govee pro in my review and now I am going to review the path lights. It seems as if Govee does not include any helpful info on any of their lights. The just ship and hope you figure it out. I went on their site and again cannot find any info to help me. I also cannot install the lights using the stakes because they have included the wrong ones in the box.

GREST LIGHTS DIFFICULT TO INSTALL DUE TO POOR DESIGN

great lights poorly designed for the install. These lights are modern looking bright and awesome for the function because you can have different top marker light colors and different bottom light colors. They also can be synced to match the house lights. However the way GOVEE designed them sucks. You can’t string light set to light set. So every 4 lights needs another outdoor outlet. So that means I put in 12 lights I had to install 3 separate dedicated outdoor outlets. Also there is no extension cables available and the length from the plug to the controller is way to short. The controller should be put into a waterproof box. The wire length from the controller to the first light is also short. Govee should add 50 feet plus of wire from the plug head to the controller and 50 feet of wire from the controller to the first light. Again in its current state what do you do if you have a long driveway or walkway? Just keep adding outlets buried in the ground with expensive cable and don’t forget about wifi range. These lights need to be updated to accommodate longer runs snd atleast have different cable distances upon purchasing .

No Local Control

Sadly, these lights are wifi and need to go through the govee app or, at the very least, the govee api for control. This makes it impossible to have local control as one would have if they used the zigbee protocol for example.
