I am giving this 4 stars because they are amazing. My only complaint is that I have a 16 ft and a 32 ft and they don't sync with each other properly. I tried to do a slow fade and the time on each of them is extremely off. Other than that they would be perfect.

After losing the tiny controller for my old all-white LED porch lights (which only adjusted brightness), I was stuck with a simple on/off switch. Eventually, I gave up and upgraded to something smarter—and I’m so glad I did.
I installed the Govee Strip Light 2 Pro, and it’s been a total game-changer. With Alexa integration, 21 lighting effects, and over 100 preset scene modes, I finally have full control and personality in my porch lighting—all from my phone or a voice command.
The funniest part? Right after I finished the install, I found the old controller. Classic. There’s some universal law that makes lost things show up the minute you no longer need them. Tossing it out was very satisfying.
Now I just say, “Alexa, turn on the porch lights,” and enjoy the show.
