Good idea , with a huge problem!

While I'm with the rest of the world that putting up Holiday Lights and taking them down again is a pain, These cause another problem! Light pollution! If the lights were only on or off, in a choice of colors , that's fine. But to the last home I've seen these on, people run them like their house is a Commercial Display, and all freaking year ! Multiple colors flashing and strobing and chasing, during the holidays is even annoying if you live by one of these houses. And the fact people run them in different color patterns for different seasons or holidays , still strobing ,and flashing, and chasing is a Total nuisance in neighborhood menace! If you have some commercial business, in a business district that allows this , that's fine, but NOT in Neighborhoods! People don't seem to have the slightest bit of courtesy for neighbors any longer. If you install these, please have some common sense, and don't make your home into a neighborhood nuisance. Solid colors, of seasonal choice. Very slow fade transitions if any! Brightness not on 100 percent all the time. And don't make the area look like a brothel advertising for customers! Not a fan of HOAs , but a huge fan of common sense, and decency, where people think of their neighbors!

Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 do not have back compability with Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights

They dont support extra controller or support if we have extra lights. The outdoor lights and outdoor lights 2 will not even support connection to each other. Seems like a SCAM so that you buy lights when each iteration of same kind of lights comes out. Having them not have back combability with Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights is a very scummy move from this company.

Installation was fine but the APP to program them and such is NOT user friendly. 2 weeks later and still struggling.

These lights are super bright!I love the app and all the options. I highly recommend these. In fact, I’m going to buy some indoor lights and yard lights. They are amazing.
