I absolutely love my outdoor Govee lights. I no longer have to climb a ladder to put up lights on my roofline. Being able to change the colors, patterns, and on and off times with the app on my cell phone is so easy!!!

Installed the Pro2 lights before Christmas and have really enjoyed them. Now in the new year, I use the white light setting as added evening security. I like the fact that we can have the ability to turn the lights on from the car when we come home after an evening outing.

Want to love them, but the app is problematic

The good: great installation with the adhesive and clips. Lots of options, including color selection and patterns.
The bad: The app is terrible. Everything is far too complicated, not intuitive, and redundant. Specifically, I used a DIY all of December and no matter how many settings I tried, the lights would not stay one brightness. They would go all the way dark and suddenly light up 100 percent.
Now I have them on one color with a simple sunrise- and sunset-based schedule. All appears to be working (although I’ve caught them doing the suddenly bright thing a couple of times).
