The lights themselves are great. Using Govees chart to figure out which length gave me inadequate lighting on my 6.5 foot tree. Seriously 99 feet of lights is nothing (300 lights). For a 6.5 foot tree you need at least the 165 foot length, if not the 300 foot which gets expensive.
I don't know who made that chart or what they were thinking, but ignore it IMO.

I just want quality lights. I am not interested in downloading apps to make lights function. There is not a manual option to change the light color or pattern. Returned the product.

I bought 15+ Govee products late 2024 including the Christmas string 2 lights. One set failed within the first 3 weeks of install and a second has died with in 6 weeks. Lights are on front landscape, plugs and controllers protected from direct rain/snow. Obviously the lights are not designed to the advertised IP ratings or their production is flawed. Either way, very expensive for lights that are not robust. As an EE in the automotive industry, I’m versed in electrical ECU design for harsh environments. These do not measure up to even the lights requirements. Stay away, spend your money elsewhere.
