I was able to switch out. Oh my back porch lights and replace them with the Govee Outdoor lights in 30 minutes. They are BRIGHT! Or and be as low as you want. And just like all Govee lights they change colors and do all the fun cool stuff you can imagine! They are programable and very well made. I was surprised to see how much weight they had to them selves. The whole outside of the light is made from steel and powder coated so they will never rust. You can't go wrong buying these. I would buy more if I'll ever need more.

Shouold have included motion detection.

Nice lights but only 3 segments however. These really should have included motion detection built-in. The battery motion detection solution is poor and seriously who wants to replace batteries when you have power already going to the lights. Hooking these up with motion detection built in could have driven your entire outdoor lighting, powered and water proof.

Can’t set lights on/off at sunset or sunrise

The app is horrible. you want your lights to turn on at sunset? Maybe turnoff at sunrise? No chance….Of all of the simplest features, they have not figured out how to let you turn on your lights at sunset.
This is a BASIC feature that govee still has not incorporated. Very little care for user experience.
