Easy to program and looks great on the house. My only complaint is that when paired with other Govee lights, even when using the same color on the app it is slightly off. Also, I do with the lights had a more decorative look during the day, when the housing is more visible (not really an issue at night). We replaced existing lights, and they were easy to install.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Outdoor Wall Light: Great Product! Great Purchase!

The Govee Outdoor Wall Light is an excellent product and I would recommend it! I love mine and I am very happy that I bought it!
I installed mine about 7 months ago and I have had only good experiences. From 95 to 15 degree weather, direct scorching summer sunlight, rain, snow, sleet and high winds, my outdoor wall lights have never failed. The fit and finish is top notch. They look as good as when they came out of the box - no signs of weathering or UV discoloring. The timer function is great. I leave mine set from sunset to midnight everyday and there are plenty of lights scenes for year round seasons and holidays. The brightness in white light mode is amazing. Far brighter than the old lights or BR30 flood lights.
Installation is super easy. It was my first time installing outdoor wall lights and I replaced the original builder lights. These are hardwired directly into the electric wire. No outlet plugs. Use push in wire connectors to make it easier (not included). The hardest step installing these lights was finding the correct circuit breaker switch to cut off the power.
I never hooked up a motion sensor or proximity function. So no comments on that. The timer function fits my needs perfectly.

Easy to setup, Confusing to group

I bought 10 of these lights to replace all the sconces around my house. My decision to go all in was because the permanent lights I installed a few years ago are going strong. They were easy to setup with the metal wall plate that came with them, even if the home builder can't put an electrical box in the same way to save themselves.
My only two gripes are software:
- Google would pop up Matter notifications while I was setting up the lights in the Govee app. This isn't Govee's fault, but its something to be aware of. While I set everything up with matter after the fact, I figured Govee was the way to get total control of the lights.
- Once I had these lights, the govee app was confusing to find how to group them. I had to search around on the internet to discover where the shortcuts menu. The UX flow of the app could really use an overhaul.
