Not ideal, but good enough.
on September 15, 2024

'+ The picture quality is very good for a such tiny device. Brightness is enough even due twilights. Contrast is more than good. The projector is really small and lightweight.
- Performance is worse than expected. Some lags and freezes during menu navigation. Google TV channels loading is really slow. The worst thins - It doesn't support exFat file system.
In sum. It's a good portable device. But there are some things that should be improved in the next mode;.'

Upgraded from the capsule 3

I can only say that the laser capsule three is so much better than it’s predecessor. I’m enjoying both of them actually but huge difference.

This product is amazing, excellent display and with the auto keystone and focus makes this a must have for outdoor movie nights. I would have given it a 5 star if the battery was just a little longer but it’s good enough.

Dead after 17 months (Nebula II Review)
on June 17, 2024

Please understand that this is a review for the NEBULA 2. I have no other options but to leave this review here. It is outside of the 1 year warranty, will not charge, customer service could not help. Other than that, served as a mediocre projector in my living room, and because it is portable, other places as well, that is the only reason this is a 2 star review. Does not do great during daylight, it is almost impossible to watch, unless you have blackout curtains. Do not rely on the internal speaker.

Good but it needs "Apps only mode" that google TV now supports
on June 17, 2024

This device is severely handicapped when it comes to speed. The software (Google TV) is trying to always do too much. When you start the device, the interface loads movies/shows/images/audio/video/ads...it's just too much to load and so, everything slows down to a crawl. But Google has created a fix that this project needs to adopt asap!
It's called "Apps only mode" and it essentially turns this into an interface like the Apple TV, where all you have are app icons. So, nothing loads except for local apps. No content is refreshed, no audio/video is played. As you can imagine, this is much faster to launch and operate than the default setup. I've changed my other Google Chromecast/Google TV devices into this set up but I am not able to set the Capsule 3 in this way. BRING THIS FEATURE TO THE PROJECTOR, it needs it desperately.

Went Downhill Fast
on April 23, 2024

Was good when I first got it but after a couple of months it became glitchy. Sometimes it gets stuck buffering, goes totally blank or keeps going back to the Android screen. The sound quality is subpar but I was willing to deal with it when it was working well. Now it takes me about 5 minutes before I can actually watch something, sound isn't great and its not as bright as the videos and youtube reviews make it out to be. Its annoying that you can't install Netflix directly as an app. The Nebula control app is kind of annoying too. I like that its so small and portable but if I would have know it would become so slow I probably wouldn't have bought it or at least would have bought the cheaper version.
