The way our old home’s living room is built is a bit awkward shaped, so I decided to ditch the traditional TV and go with a projector. Best decision! It takes up basically no space, love that it is portable (use it outside, living room, and bedroom), and the picture is wonderful. I don’t even need a screen for it. I just put it directly on the wall. Definitely would recommend. The people that thought this was a weird idea at first, changed their minds after they saw the quality of it.
This projector is great. It’s small, portable, picture is great, and auto-focus works well. I’m very happy I bought it. However, I really wish the remote had a mute button. Also, to adjust the volume just a little bit takes many more presses of the +/- buttons than it should. A final annoyance is that several times when trying to rewind 10 sec. I was taken back to the start of the film. (I think the issue is you have to try to go back 10 sec. while the movie is playing vs. paused?).
No complaints whatsoever. You just need to wait to get a bit darker to use outdoors but if that is your main use, get the Mars 3 (1000 ANSI lumens) instead of the Mars 3 Air (400 ANSI lumens).
Anyways , it still works great outdoors and all apps + casting is perfect.
Everything mentioned about the quality of this portable projector are true. I upgraded from a smaller projector and worth every penny. Lots of pennies. Picture quality, sound (amazing), and features. The only surprise was when it keystones to make picture adjust to any angle, the original light frame is still ghosted on the screen. I would have thought it would’ve completely blocked. I have no complaints and would recommend this amazing portable projector to any movie enthusiast. Look no further, it is simply amazing.
