[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop after having a bad experience with a Lenovo Legion 5 gen 7. When buying this laptop I was looking for a resilient, budget laptop which would suit my college needs and hold up over time. Having had this laptop for over a month now, I can already see the difference. The laptops I have had in the past have screens that wobble when the table shakes which makes me super nervous having the laptop out in public. The ThinkPad E16 Gen 1 has had no issues with a shaky screen, and I feel much more confident using it.
I am also a commuter to college so the laptop sees a lot of travel. I recommend this laptop to anyone, especially people who travel a lot, but still need a large screen. The only thing to warn is that the graphics are not powerful enough for most gaming, but that is to be expected with integrated graphics. The laptop is great for every other purpose though. I am very happy with my purchase.
