Surprisingly, really great!

I got this bass a week ago and was expecting it to be only a practice bass. I played a jazz gig on it the next day, and the sound was pretty full, and the pickup had no problems at all! Obviously, the acoustic sound doesn't have the same effects as an upright bass, but it still has a big sound without an amp! The action might be a little high and the strings are a little bright sounding for my taste, but I like them enough to play this bass!

You just can't get a better bang for your buck. Its nice looking, it plays nice,(I had mine "set up" by a pro), I will play this bass on stage. It's that good. You can practice without an amp, if you're playing out, just plug it into an amp. Has eq and volume control. I'd give it a ten.

The neck is straight, the action supple, and it stays in tune

I'm not a pro player but this instrument is just what I wanted. The last acoustic/electric bass I purchased was unplayable within a month - this one has been perfect for 3 months. What a great instrument for practice and casual playing. You don't even need an amp.

I've had this guitar about two months. The action on mine came in about .175" which was pretty high for me. I pulled out the plastic bridge and sanded it down. The action is now at .095". Adjusted the truss rod and good to go. It's a 30 inch scale. You could buy 5 of these for the price of an entry level name brand acoustic bass.

Well made bass guitar with great sound. I don't have to hook up to my amp all the time to practice, thanks!

Fun Acoustic Basses

I have 3 of these acoustic basses, 2 of which are on other states so I have something I can play if I visit San Francisco or Chicago. The one I have here in Oregon has been with me on several hikes to mountains, beaches and waterfalls. My top 2 hobbies are hiking and bass....these basses are perfect for fulfilling both passions. They're also super durable!! One has been dropped and beaten up pretty bad but still plays great!

I wasn’t expecting it to be a high end acoustic bass so I wasn’t expecting much for a 150 dollar GTR. I am thoroughly pleased at the basics of this bass. The electronics are decent. But the bass sounds great on it’s on. I’m very pleased with the bass at this price range.
