Great guitar for the price

Got this guitar for Christmas it's my first electric guitar of my own. Very impressed with the guitar even after playing my buddies Les Paul Infact I just ordered new pick guard and pick ups I have the black and blue guitar I ordered a black and blue Pearl pick guard and black strat pickups stays in tune very well even down to the 12th fret so good job on the bridge the amp isn't to bad. The overdrive works well. I will be investing in a better amp but just around the house and portable option is there. If I lost it or broke it would I buy another one yes I would!!

Amp quality

I am a seasoned guitar player, and I hate to discuss a negative experience with any musical instrument/ gear. This guitar isn't bad at all. Pretty impressed overall with the. Overall sound it produces, but only when hooked up to my amplifier,not the one that comes with the package. This was for my son, beginning but accelerating fast,he's a natural. I'm sorry but this amplifier that comes in this combo is pure junk. I've seen10watt amps out perform this one by a landslide. There's only so much you can do with a bad amp. Bought him a boss distortion pedal, hardly works with it. The overdrive button is useless. But it's cool they sell what they do for how much they do...we got it for a reduced price, but if it woulda been the original price , ...nope. Just saying, maybe Chuck in a better amp, and your sales will take off. Thanks

Great guitar, bad amp

I got this guitar a few months ago I'm on my 7th month of playing I saw the guitar is really good great quality I'm really loving the rosewood finger bored and the aesthetic of the guitar. It's a really great knockoff of the fender Stratocaster. But the amp is so bad the over drive sounds really bad. If you're trying to play metal on it the amp is a no no. You can't get the sound or the tone and good luck finding a way to palm mute because you can't palm mute *if you're trying to play metal. But guitar is great this is a really good one to make really great mods to it it's even better than actually buying the real deal but buy a really good amp.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
