The guitar looks beautiful. Only issue with getting an acoustic guitar is that you can't adjust the bridge for tuning issues at the octave level. If you don't have perfect pitch it probably won't be an issue. Still fine to learn to read music and learn technique. If I really stick with learning the Bass I will have to buy a better quality electric later.

I am hopefully getting one of these in the future. I love how I can find an acoustic bass that has a good color and it isn't to cheap.

You just can't get a better bang for your buck. Its nice looking, it plays nice,(I had mine "set up" by a pro), I will play this bass on stage. It's that good. You can practice without an amp, if you're playing out, just plug it into an amp. Has eq and volume control. I'd give it a ten.

a bit greener than the color displayed, still beautiful! Also, the sound and strings are pretty good quality for the price. If i were to go into a music store and pick up a bass for $400, it would be the same. The only bad thing is a few of the cords inside of the bass were just all over the place, not glued in or anything. 9/10

I'm not a pro player but this instrument is just what I wanted. The last acoustic/electric bass I purchased was unplayable within a month - this one has been perfect for 3 months. What a great instrument for practice and casual playing. You don't even need an amp.

I got this bass a week ago and was expecting it to be only a practice bass. I played a jazz gig on it the next day, and the sound was pretty full, and the pickup had no problems at all! Obviously, the acoustic sound doesn't have the same effects as an upright bass, but it still has a big sound without an amp! The action might be a little high and the strings are a little bright sounding for my taste, but I like them enough to play this bass!
