Noise caceling doesn't work

I'm really disappointed because I had high hopes for these JBL earbuds. I have been using cheap ones from Winners for a few years but they finally died and I saw these on sale so I ordered them. I use them for running, nothing else, so noise canceling is very important. I don't want wind noise blocking out the music. Problem is, the noise canceling on these JBL Tune Flex earbuds DO NOT WORK AT ALL. In fact when noise canceling is on, it's almost as if the wind noise is amplified. I have the largest ear tip on so I have a snug fit so they don't fall out when I'm running so there's definitely no noise leaking through. I've used the app and have tried everything. The only thing that is slightly better is to turn the noise canceling off!
I do not recommending these earbuds if you want background noise blocked out.
