I have had several different indoor and outdoor security cameras and systems over the past ten years. In building my security lines around my home I found the need to get away from the standard cams that are stationary and leave blind spots as subjects pass in and out of their boundaries. As I do with all cameras, I look at price, quality and specifications. I also study reviews before making a decision on which camera I will purchase. My home security is extremely important so going through all of these steps are needed.
After numerous hours of searching through the aforementioned criteria, I made the decision to purchase ane Aosu D1 Classic outdoor security camera. It should be noted that, although I have several years of experience with security cameras around my house, I am no techy! I look for the easiest avenue in connection and set up for each of my cameras.
My reason for choosing Aosu was simple, this camera auto tracks people and or any other subject that passes before its wide ranges. It tracks them until your timer set up expires or they just go out of sight behind something. You can set it up for just people or all subjects. For the quality of the camera lens and durability the price just can't be beat. The clarity of this camera is great and the night vision is quite clear when the lights on the camera come on. I would say for a pretty good distance at night. I also have sensor lights around all of my cameras and when those lights are initiated the camera really sees further at night. The camera alerts your phone, and you can set an alarm or speak on the two way speaker system.
Another reason I am standing by this wonderful camera is that even after bragging about this camera I did have a malfunction with it. I notified Aosu and explained my situation. After they studied these issues, they stayed behind their product and sent me a new camera to replace the one I had at no cost. I am very thankful to find a company who actually stands by their product. I put the new camera in and it is right back to work guarding my home. I am just about to order another one of these cameras because I love everything about it and feel this camera covers so much more than all of my other cameras.

I got 2 of those cameras in 2024, and up to now, I have been very happy. Installing the camera is very easy, the definition of the picture is good, and the camera is very easy to control from your smartphone. A good way of staying connected and always knowing what's going on at home!

I have a total of 8 of these cameras. All of them are in direct sun. However, I have one camera that stopped charging after only 5 months. I turned it off when it was at 18% battery so that it could charge faster. That was TWO WEEKS AGO, and it still has not fully charged. It is only at 55% now. That is how slowly it is charging. And there is nothing I can do to get help from the company.
