My desktop and laptop were each several years old and not Windows 11 capable. Would not make much difference immediately, but soon enough it would begin to interfere with work flow. I bought an Acer Swift 3 and use it with this and the USB C cable. I pop that cable and use USB 3.0 cable for my old desktop. So I still use both machines. I wish that this would also charge the ACER Swift 3 through its USB C connector and I wish it had about two more USB 3.0 ports. Otherwise perfect.

You have to unplug from laptop and plug back in every time for it to be able to see the monitor attached to the Dock. This is a pain, it ought to see the monitor immediately, without having to plug and re-plug
