Special ordering gave me the customized features that were needed, without features unwanted. This is the first solid state drive I have ever had, other than USB flash drives. The drive is so fast. It boots fast. Windows 11 may have no need for purchase of antivirus software, because the software it has really works. Everyone should also use the check disk, and defrag, at the administrator prompt. Those programs take less time than ever before. Any defrag program takes more than two hours at the prompt, but this defrag program is twenty minutes faster. It would have been nice to have BIOS CSM Legacy boot in this computer, but it is missing, and only boots UEFI. That is why I will need to purchase UEFI booting operating systems on USB flash drives. After booting so many legacy USB flash drives, for so very long, it is a big change to begin UEFI booting.
I've been extremely impressed with this computer. I'm a full-time bookkeeper, but I also spend a lot of time writing Python programs to automate accounting tasks, process large Excel files, generate reports, and build tools for QuickBooks imports and data analysis. This machine has handled everything I've thrown at it without breaking a sweat.
I regularly have multiple applications open at the same time—Python running in PyCharm, Excel with large workbooks, QuickBooks Online, numerous Chrome tabs, Outlook, PDF editors, and other business software—and it stays fast and responsive. Compiling code, processing thousands of records, and working with large datasets has been smooth and surprisingly quick.
One thing I really appreciate is how quiet it runs. Even during heavier workloads, it stays cool and doesn't sound like it's struggling. The overall performance has been rock solid, and I've never felt like I was waiting on the computer.
The AI capabilities are a nice bonus and make it feel like a system that's ready for what's coming rather than already becoming outdated. The build quality feels premium, startup is incredibly fast, and overall it's been a very dependable workstation.
Honestly, it's probably more computer than I currently need—which isn't something I expected to say considering the amount of multitasking and Python development I do. It gives me plenty of room to continue learning, building larger automation projects, and expanding my workload without worrying about performance.
If you're looking for a computer that can easily handle professional productivity, software development, heavy multitasking, and demanding office work, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. It's been one of the best technology purchases I've made.
