We have hi TDS and chlorine in our public water supply. The filter removes the heavy metals and chlorine smell and taste and and the taste is perfect. having has whole house systems in the past, this is perfect for renters, or just those who want great tasting water for drinking and cooking. The UV also is a wonderful benefit removing bacteria!

Filter supposed to last one year approximately previous filter did just that now it was time to replace. The overall unit works well for us.
