Best automatic litter box I’ve had. I have 3 litter robots and wanted to give Leo’s too a try. I am NOT disappointed. Best one by far. I have decided to get rid of my litter robots and replace them with Leo’s too!! I have a large 20lb cat and he fits in it just fine. So does my older cat and a couple kittens. They all love it!
This litter box is the absolute best! It’s an investment for sure but so worth it to have a fresh and clean litter box for our cat. She loves it! It’s took her no time at all to get used to it and one of the best parts is that she tracks almost no litter outside of the box.
This is the first automatic litter box I have owned and I regret not transitioning sooner! I did make the mistake of turning it on right away and getting rid of the old litter box the second I saw both of my cats use it. That was a mistake because my older cat panicked after seeing it cycle through a few times and started peeing on our bath mat. I turned it off for one week and now he’s back to using it. I’m going to slowly transition to automatic cleaning cycles, but for now I just push the button every night when my cats aren’t around. The litter box itself was very easy to set up and it works well. I have not had any troubleshooting issues or malfunctions. The drawer does fill up fast, but I have two cats using it. Sometimes you just need to shake the drawer a few times to evenly distribute the clumped litter in the drawer so there is room for more. I highly recommend.
I was a little skeptical at first. My cats are finicky creatures and adding a new litter box, especially one that looks like a cement mixer, can easily be ignored. But after setting it up (which took no time at all), both sized up the object. It took an hour for my brave boy Ollie to use the litter box. Olivia, not as brave, took a day to get use to it. It has been such a help! It keeps the litter box clean, it's not very loud, and I don't smell a thing! My one complaint would be more of a personal thing, I can't use my favorite type of litter, which is the wood pellets over the overly perfumed clay litter. But with the ease of this litter box, I got over it!
