I've had dozens of Headphones over the years, and the ones from this company were, by far, the worst. Spent nearly five hundred bucks for limited volume, an extra thudding sound on a lot of bass tracks, and then the right side just quit entirely after a few months. I won't make this mistake again, and I would advise everyone to avoid this kind of garbage.
The overall quality of the product is far behind the quality of the first version of this product and even from the same product 10 years ago. My 10 years old BeyerDynamic DT 770 are in better shape than this one after one year of use. The bad: The Fake leather on the top Headband is the worst fake leather quality you can get on earth. Crack and fall in piece after a year and half. My old one are still 100% like new after 10 years. The ear pads fall in piece after less than a year. After 8 years or a bit less the earpad was usable on my old ones (just crushed by the time and dirt but not broken in pieces like this new ones) The good: It is still a good reference sound for the price and the newest version are supposed to be better. The wire & connector are still very sturdy. Note: There is a difference in sound with each different Ohms version with the 80 ohms the most apprioprate one for desktop and studio. 30 Ohms version for mobile devices and 250 ohms to use with high quality expensive pre-amp used in recording studio. If you use these headphones in a none appropriate device for the OHMS you have, the sound is very mid and not that good but if you use it in the correct device the bass and overall all frequencies are well defined.
