Very intuitive

It pays close attention to my sleep and i love the morning report on how well i slept. It calculates my heart rate distance and steps pretty well and the battery life is great although sometimes i wake up to my watch telling me i have some steps which i dont understand.

Everything I need in a sports watch

This is my third Garmin and certainly the best. The GPS is very accurate - even for elevation. I use it with my Pixel 9 phone and the integration is excellent. Health stats - oxygen saturation, V02, and especially pulse during running all appear to be on mark. If I had to replace this watch, I would choose the same.

Been using a Forerunner 955 for a few years now. Wear it all the time and use it for hiking, biking and road/trail runs.
Excellent battery life and functions.
Would be nice to have at least 2 size options though.
Great price and watch for someone looking for touchscreen without the price of Garmin's highest end watches.

It does motocross lap times!

I got the Forerunner to use riding motocross to monitor my lap times while training to race competitively. The Forerunner comes with a motorcycle app just for this purpose. I works pretty good most of the time but occasionally hiccups and records a session as a single lap instead of multiple.
I also like me sleep monitor feature but it often fails to detect sleep so it is a bit spotty there.

I think the battery life and running features, combined with affordability make this watch a top pick. I upgraded from a Forerunner 945.

A bit lacking

I've had several Garmins over the years and at least three on the Forerunner line. The issue with the charging port continues to be problematic. Spending so much money on a watch to have it be impossible to charge is very disappointing. I have bought new cables, new blocks, everything and you have to wiggle it in the perfect way to get it to charge and then it charges so slowly. It looks nice and is comfortable and seems accurate, but the charging difficulties are really putting me off from the brand

Such a great watch. Garmin did it again with this upgrade. This was a little bulky for me but I learned to love it. Battery lasted over a week even in peak training (I'm a half marathon-er). Really looking forward to trying the new Forerunners.
