Switched from an apple watch

As someone who often climbs and is just getting into running again, I wanted to make the switch from an apple watch. This watch is AMAZING! I never really used the smart features of my apple watch (calling, texting, etc) and so I haven't missed those features very much, but be aware you won't have the ability to respond to texts or answer calls with this watch if you have an iPhone. The fitness tracking and predictions of this watch are by far better than my series 8 apple watch. I also really enjoy the added battery life since I will be bringing this watch on several backpacking trips this summer. Great Garmin watch for those who want to save a bit of $$ but still get amazing features.

much lighter and cheaper than the Fenix 7 series for the same data. Less of a rugged feel but well worth it in my opinion.

This watch it great. I upgraded from a forerunner 630. The ability to find gps is much faster and I have music right on my wrist. Highly recommend!

Great running watch

I upgraded from the Fenix 5X when my battery life started to falter and I absolutely love this watch. Not only was it super simple to set it up, it's way lighter than my Fenix, and it grabs GPS signal faster than any other watch I've used - most days it has GPS signal within 5 seconds. As a woman who runs by herself a lot, I like that it has the track-me feature. It is also WAY easier to create and load routes into my watch than it was with my Fenix. My only tiny complaint is that the lap button seems to be more sensitive than other Garmins I've had - I've inadvertently hit it with my dog's leash and while putting on gloves. In the grand scheme of things though it's really no big deal. It's got heaps and heaps of features, which admittedly for some people might be overkill, but there's really not much that you'd want it to do that it doesn't. I would absolutely recommend this watch to any runner/triathlete.

Form factor is good on my 160mm wrist. I use this running, biking (with a power sensor), and to track biometrics. Works great, the data is interesting and valuable. Heart rate sensor occasionally misreads during a workout and not sure why, my Forerunner 245 did the same thing. Pricey, but worth it for me.

watch helps you understand your recovery. It helps provide feedback and recommendations for additional workouts. I bought it for the multisport functionality and it is great. I am also more impressed with the accuracy of the miles logged when running on a treadmill.
It is light weight and much less bulky then the fenix series watches. I was debating between the Fenix 7 or this watch and thus far I am very pleased.
